The 2014 Annual Air Quality Conference will be held Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014 at the Sheraton Phoenix Airport Hotel from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
This year’s conference will be co-hosted by the Arizona Manufacturers Council and the Maricopa County Air Quality Department. There will be a variety of speakers from the Environmental Protection Agency, Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and Maricopa County Air Quality Department. They will discuss such topics as air quality rules and revisions, compliance and enforcement and will provide EPA updates. There will also be an ozone panel discussion and information on the winter No Burn Campaign.
Maricopa County Air Quality Department’s new Director, Philip McNeely, will provide an update on current department projects and programs and will discuss future challenges. The conference will include a lively panel discussion featuring representatives from regulatory agencies, industry and other stakeholder groups.
