LEED v4 - Changes to Energy Performance

A presentation and discussion on the LEED v4 for BD&C: New Construction and Major Renovation requirements and changes from the 2009 version for the Prerequisite Minimum Energy Performance and the Credit Optimize Energy Performance. There are many new prerequisite changes and at the heart of them is the change in the Energy Code Standard. It's not as easy to meet the minimum performance requirements. There are many new mandatory requirements that you can't remove from the design. The course will be an open discussion involving the best processes to meet the prerequisite minimum energy performance and understand where we can get our best bang for the buck in increasing the energy performance of the building.
