The U.S. Green Building Council included a new “Integrative Process” credit as a major addition to the LEED v4 system in order to support high-performance, cost-effective project outcomes through an early analysis of the interrelationships among systems. Additionally, the new Site Assessment credit encourages project teams to assess site conditions before design to evaluate sustainable options and inform related decisions about site design. These entirely new LEED v4 credits address the need to consider important sustainability elements earlier in the design/construction process in order to create a truly sustainable project.
Join USGBC Arizona Chapter Founder and President of Green Ideas Sustainability Consultants Charlie Popeck as he presents an overview of the two newest LEED v4 credits along with details for implementation strategies to create a high-performance building that concentrates on energy and life-cycle cost savings.
