$200 million investment recovery and counting!  Can investment recovery be a profitable sustainable practice for your business, too?

Mark your calendars for this very special opportunity to tour the SRP Investment Recovery Center to see how SRP is simultaneously generating income and reducing landfill waste.

Established in 1986 under a governing Board Resolution, the Investment Recovery Department has the sole responsibility for disposing of SRP’s retire assets and obsolete equipment/materials (with the exception of real estate and fuels). Investment Recovery’s mission is to safety and strategically enhance SRP’s environmental impact by providing innovative and sustainable solutions across the enterprise. Since inception, Investment Recovery has returned nearly $200 million dollar back to SRP’s corporate fund by minimizing operating cost and maximizing the return on market commodities.

Marc Campbell – Representing the SRP Sustainability Department and

Matt Lovelady – Representing the SRP Investment Recovery Department

Matt Lovelady has worked at Salt River Project (SRP) for nearly 12 years, holding various positions throughout the Facilities Services and Mechanical Construction and Maintenance departments. He is currently the Manager of Investment Recovery organization within the Corporate Operations Services. Since joining the Investment Recovery department Matt has been passionately working to divert landfill disposal, find new ways to process and handle material while raising awareness of the services provided by the organization. Matt hold a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Manufacturing Engineering and a Master’s of Science in Management of Technology, both from Arizona State University.
